| Great sound, easy installation and outstanding reliability make the mid-sized in-ceiling Klipsch KHC-6 speaker one of the best values in architectural audio. The white frame and rustproof, powder-coated aluminum grille can be painted to match any ceiling. Easy to install, the KHC-6 in-ceiling speaker is an excellent choice for distributed music systems and other applications that require unobtrusive, high-quality speakers. Constructed on a rigid, low-resonance cast-polymer frame, the two-way KHC-6 features a 6.5" woofer that delivers robust bass. Its coaxially-mounted 1" aluminum-dome tweeter is mated to a Klipsch Tractrix(R) Horn that can be swiveled to focus the sound effectively in the room. A tweeter attenuation switch, placed behind the grille, tailors the speaker's output to the acoustics of the environment. While the Klipsch KHC-6 in-ceiling speaker looks very different, its drivers sonically match the freestanding models in the Synergy speaker line, producing the same wide dynamic, low distortion performances.  Perfect for my kitchen! |

| When I had my kitchen remodeled, I decided to include in-ceiling speakers. The sound is great, rich enough to compensate for all the metal appliances and stone countertop. I priced these speakers in big box stores as well as on the Internet and no place was able to beat the Amazon price. |

| I bought 4 of these speakers, RC-52 center channel, and the 10 sub woofer by Klipsch. I have been very happy with the sound from these ceiling speakers. I recognize that they are not as good as floor speakers, but they do a great job in my home as part of a whole system. |

I was not sure whether I wanted to try and install these on my own and was really freaked out when I cut a large hole in my ceiling but I'm glad I did it. It really was easy to do on my own. I figured I saved nearly $200 by installing myself. Speakers came with a cardboard template, all I did was trace it and cut it.
As for the quality of sound, the are great! I paired these with my Klipsch floor speakers and the fullness of sound now is so much better. |

purchased the klipsch KHC-6 from amazon after seeing and hearing them in my local bestbuy. very smooth highs, and distinct mids for the rears in my 20'x25' home theatre. saved 220.00 compared to that retailer. delivery only took 3 days, and arrived in perfect condition. will definitely
do most of my online shopping through amazon from here on out! |
