The Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 system is simply amazing. I've coupled these with an Auzentech X-Fi Sound Card in my home computer, and I am now enjoying the best sound quality I've ever had from a computer. I use these in a relatively small office in my house, and at full volume, it is overwhelming.
These speakers produce some of the clearest, sharpest sound that I've heard from any speaker system, including expensive home theater stereos. They produce accurate, clear, rich highs and mid range sound along with strong bass if you want it.
There are two controls on the left speaker which serves as the control for the rest of the system. One controls volume and the other the bass level. I find this to be very useful to quickly switch bass levels from one song to the next.
Pros:
Powered Amp--this is a big deal if you want quality bass
Powerful 200 Watts of power
Highest quality sound from any 2.1 system I have ever heard including Bose and Harmon Kardon products.
Solid, food framed speakers and subwoofer. These speakers will out last any of the plastic stuff made by Logitech or others.

Cons:
More expensive than other 2.1 systems, but you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to speakers.
In sum, these speakers are awesome. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants high quality sound from a small package. My friends are always commenting on how great these speakers are, to the point that two of them have gone and purchased their own set!

| i was trying to decide between the klipsch and bose, i bought the bose and they went bad within 2 months. then i got these klipsch and i love them- they're the best for sound, quality and price! |

| I had wanted to get the klipsch 5.1 speaker set 3-4 years ago when looking for a sound system. I ended up getting a receiver and 5.1 JBL home audio speakers. When the JBL set moved into the family room, my laptop speakers just weren't cutting it. Not finding the need to go full 5.1, I ended up getting the 2.1 klipsch promedia system and I absolutely love it. Bass is turned down low and still feels great, try and turn it up more and it gets washed out and sounds terrible. Once you find the right bass setting, crank it up and enjoy the tunes! |

I wish Klipsch still made this product so that others could enjoy it. The setup produces nice, crisp sound with great amplification in a relatively small package. The left and right speakers are attractive, too, not an eyesore like most speakers you see being used with a home computer.
Overall, I'm quite pleased with this setup for my home computer, for computer system sounds, playing MP3's from the computer, and watching video content. It's well worth the price. |

| This is the 3rd system I have ordered...WHY.....???? Because it's great. Kid's each have their own, and I finally get to keep mine! Sound quality is great, adjustment to the bass makes it a complete system, to go with my MacBook Pro. Very good dimensional sound. I am very particular to the high's and lows (I like jazz). Very simple, you won't be disappointed. |
